GrannyMax Of course, everyone would ideally want us to give away all our meticulously crafted skins or content for free upon release. But when the entire development team needs to be paid salaries and rent, how long can we afford to do this?Compare the update frequency and content of any game within six months after a $20 release, and you'll see just how much we have done.
Claw machine is awful.
MrJoe bro it's not gambling, look up the definition of gambling, "the activity of playing games of chance for money" it's a matter of skill, you need to coordinate the claw, you have a skill issue.

I don't expect to get everything for free, and I'm not ungrateful.
This is one of the best games I've played, and I'm constantly blown away by the new content and features the developers create. I'd happily pay more money for the game to support the devs if they needed it. It's much better than most games.
That being said, I don't think it's "ungrateful" to tell the devs how they can improve when they release something that primarily favors older, richer players who've been playing for a long time. The least they could do was be more honest about how the claw machine works.
But you're right, I haven't played any Chinese games, so maybe I am expecting a bit too much.

This isn't literal gambling, but it comes fairly close in principle. If you watched the video, you'd see that a decent amount of those claw pulls were quite accurate, and only failed when they were very close to winning.
MrJoe read again: you are guaranteed to get a character within 7 attempts, even if we assume it's "rigged" and bugged. that's just 840 nemo bucks, couldnt be any cheaper. there could be no claw machine and they would sell those skins for 5 dollars each just like cabbage dog. this would be 40 dollars for all skins, yet you can get it all for free. and if you dont play regularly, you can still reduce the price by completing pass + nemo bucks you will receive from level rewards. there is still 34 days. so please, if you want to whine like a child, you can do it with other idiots on discord. claw machine is fun
but also you dont need all these characters, chose a few you like and you should spend no real money. obviously if you want to get everything, you will be running low on nemo bucks
Igor Stating the odds/chance explicitly (as the egg coin machine does) is the only thing that the claw machine needs. It looks "weird" until you catch the pattern. People saying that this is forcing players to spend money are out of line.
also there are two categories for characters, if you noticed
could it be that "2nd prize characters" are easier to catch? you can look at videos people post to see if this may be the case
Igor I have not checked the videos, but from playing yesterday, I saw a lot of first price characters, namely the chicken and lotus. My first succesful grab was the Lime Chinchilla. I will observe this a bit on the videos.

theoldmonk i've just analyzed a video from a person i know. read here:
https://forum.partyanimals.com/d/2960-ban-this-person-on-the-forum/7507
as for character categories, it could be that second grade characters are more likely to wake up if you miss all your tries
i'll be recording my own videos, but it will be slower, because i will only use pass coins
It is not gambling but I think FOMO plays a significant role in claw/coin machines, and it can be quite addictive.
This leads to impulsive pulls in hopes of striking it lucky, but often results in a cycle of disappointment and money depletion. Once you start, it feels impossible to stop and developers is aware of that strategy… they know how to capitalize on that, benefiting from that cycle.
to be clear with you: it's "around 7 times", not always 7. from watching other people play, it seems like the last remaining characters take 8 and 9 for the last one. but also some people reported it can be 6. and it seems that on 7th try maybe the claws have tighter grip. still this doesnt affect the price too much and all characters will still be very cheap

please also dont forget about 2200 nemo bucks new levels give you and another 500 you can purchase just for one dollar from login rewards. 2700 nemo bucks with 20 free coins should be enough to get all 8 characters.
i didnt see anyone say thank you to developers for that, or for new game mode, or for 5 new characters, 3 new skin and everything else you get for free. it is very rude of you to complain about anything now

Before, yes. I need to be better about communicating my gratitude to the developers (for all the OTHER great stuff they've made). But I think part of the problem is that the devs failed to provide more information about this machine, as there is a decent amount of chance involved.
I believe what's tripped a lot of players (including me) up is that they didn't realize that there's some amount of RNG that decides if you actually get the animal, even if you grab it perfectly. (the supposed invisible wall)
I do wish they had found some kind of more...honest way of profiting, but to be fair they have put a lot of time and effort into a fairly cheap game, so they need to make more money somehow.
Igor but how good you grab only plays a certain role, because there is a chance factor to the game, so even if you grab perfectly, the game can still drop the character, if it was decided you are supposed to lose
