i only have one coin now, so i cant show you me playing now. but how good you grab only plays a certain role, because there is a chance factor to the game, so even if you grab perfectly, the game can still drop the character, if it was decided you are supposed to lose

Before, yes. I need to be better about communicating my gratitude to the developers (for all the OTHER great stuff they've made). But I think part of the problem is that the devs failed to provide more information about this machine, as there is a decent amount of chance involved.
I believe what's tripped a lot of players (including me) up is that they didn't realize that there's some amount of RNG that decides if you actually get the animal, even if you grab it perfectly. (the supposed invisible wall)
I do wish they had found some kind of more...honest way of profiting, but to be fair they have put a lot of time and effort into a fairly cheap game, so they need to make more money somehow.

but grabbing well is still important. your next grab could be determined by the system as winning one, but you can still lose if you miss the character. here she loses simply because she couldnt judge distance and grabbed the glass instead
