You guys could not be more wrong. The day a paid BattlePass or DLC happens im gonna abandon ship right away. Terrible idea.
You wanna help the devs? Paypal them your money. But dont ruin the game for others.

I mean you can buy nemo bucks or the current Tier skips for the Battle pass if you care so much for the pockets of the developers.
I cannot comprehend how you can intentionally go and ask for increased Microtransactions.
vietnam123s when you buy something, but others can get it for free , it makes you feel that you got fooled , that's why you trying to get it free too . But if something is only available for purchasing , you know you spend money on something special, don't you agree ?
If you could get a free TV , would you try to buy it or get it by free by spending some time ?
This is not the type of game to have that nonsense. People a furious for having Microtransactions in this game in the first place even though it was a paid (non free to play) game. They are absolutely right to be angry and frustrated 100%.
But @GrannyMax explained us the reality is, that they need MTX for continues support and I can cope with that if the MTX are fair and actually obtainable for everyone if you play well / grind enough. That aspect is currently not as perfectly balanced as it should be, see my long message above. That is the change im asking for.
I would feel fooled if they ever included a paid BattlePass or anything else that is paid. (remember Lettuce skin? Remember they got some harsh backlash for it?) I dont want to see that ever again honestly.
And steam reviews clearly showed that the majority absolutely hates MTX and would forbid this idea of yours.
I will not continue answering, this is really taxing on my nerves I honestly cannot believe it. You should expect much more from game devs in general. Riot Games is leading up to be one of the worst developers. Maybe not as bad as EA, Activision, Blizzard, Microsoft, Ubisoft etc. yet but they are getting there. If you wanna know why you can see countless videos and forums about it. Im just saying all this so you understand that this behavior is what gives rise to more MTX in games.
And all of these post just are here to make sure recreate games dont go down the same dark, greedy path. Because the game is awesome and I do really care about it. Maybe we need a Appreciation thread for recreate games as well to celebrate awesome stuff that was added, because this is getting real depressing in here
vietnam123s I see your point. Purchasing a skin for 5$ was a bad idea and I'm agree with you on that .
● Riot games is testing many things, their shop and their events changes constantly, either by improving them or testing new stuff that might bother the users .
So they get all through these stuff that recreate games is facing right now way long before .
■ When first time the creators of league of legends suggesting publishing a game for free with purchasing items , everyone laughed and no one would publish the game , until tencent accepted their idea
● This is also valid for other companies like Supercell , Epic games , etc.
● There are some games that they did fail to implement the correct monetization, like overwatch2 , Party animals , etc
● without changing the shop/events and only by balancing their values , they would fail just like overwatch2, That is an absolute good game like party animals
●●Remember overwatch 1 was paid with no in app purchasing, overwatch2 is free with app purchasing
But both of them did not succeed in terms of monetization
oh brother, im sorry to tell you this but the world you live in is a lie xd.
Overwatch 1 was a huge success winning game of the year and had immense amount of sales and even kicking of a huge hype for Esports. OW2 is absolute garbage, I will leave it at that. You can inform yourself as to why that is not just my opinion but objectively just the truth when compared to OW1.
Same for League of Legends. It used to be a good game... Nowadays it is very terrible. Their sole focus is to make the player as addicted to the game as possible. They only care about money. This is not common knowledge to the average player obviously. You gotta stay up to date to know this kind of stuff and what they rob the community off.
I dont think I will get through to you, so I wont continue commenting on this I played both OW1 and League a lot so im not just pulling this out of my butt. I really know those companies and hobby wise im always informed about the current situations of the companies, their reputations etc. .
I personally quit League like a week ago knowing Vanguard is on the door step and I dont want that. I have fond memories of the game but its not worth my time anymore. In fact it is not worth yours either, I hope you will see that sooner than later. This is mainly aimed at riot GAMES. Riot "everything else" is pretty good. Like the music department, their animation studio for the netflix or their side games /"indie games" department.
Anyway... to get back to Party animals... Please understand that with your behavior you will fuel the devs' egos and make them eventually go down the same type of path, might be a long stretch but it starts with this. The devs sold over 1 million copies, which is absolutely huge for their first game, they really dont need MTX at all. That said I would like to round things up and say that I have been convinced that it is okay to have them in the game, only if they are obtainable for every player who really plays well and /or grinds a lot.
vietnam123s but after overwatch1 and party animals sold that much , their sales got declined
One big hit doesn't cover anything, it's consistency that is matter
And league of legends is doing this consistency from 2009 until now
If overwatch 1 was successful, why did they bother intruduce overwatch 2 and this time for free ?
vietnam123s they shouldn't give you any nemo bucks after level 100. you get too much free nemo bucks before reaching level 100, this also is something they could not give you, your problem is that you want every skin. when you go to the store do you buy every product available? no, you just buy what you need. i dont need anything other than gray macchiato and Sam, so i spent my 10K nemo bucks gifting skins to @Color22 .
if there a skin that i need i can easily earn nemo bucks by playing. you need to play just 3 games a day to get to get 3 boxes and, if you pray, you get them quite often. if you have played just 3 games a day since the previous battle pass, you should have a lot of nemo bucks now. so even if you dont have time to play in these 17 days, you should be able to buy out the rest of the pass with your free nemo bucks. you dont even need to spend any real money
since the release of party animals i didnt need to spend any real money on it, i just bought the game second time so i can gift skins to children. now i have nemo bucks on both accounts that i dont even know what to spend on, because most of new skins they release, they give us for free, meanwhile in eggy party, another chinese game, i spent more money on one skin than party animals game costs, because unlike nemo bucks, it's way too hard to get their premium currency without paying. i honestly cant understand how people can complain to party animals when they give us so much for free. the boss is too nice to you even trying to explain this
artinunicorn this one is definitely trolling
GrannyMax Consider adjusting your unlock system for regular skins. I have played the game since release and still do not have all of them. I don't buy Nemo Bucks because those skins are RNG unlocks, so it's quite likely that I would buy a bunch and use them to get egg coins that give me all duplicates. However if I could pick the skin I want and buy it, I would certainly buy Nemo bucks.
Also a second input, some of the tasks are annoying and not doable if I don't have a lot of time in the day. Again I would prefer a system where I can grind when I have the time (ie play for 4 hours on the weekend and maybe just play a couple games on weekdays) and not feel like I have to do tasks every day. I understand why you have to use tasks, but like for the pass maybe release all the tasks for the week at once and not drip feed them day by day. And again some are annoying and I end up not getting them. Knocking 5 people out with fish just didn't happen, for 1 my lobbies kept voting for team score games, and 2 the elimination games I did get were not good for fish knockouts or I was alive for most of the matches. The ones requiring you to win the game can be hard too, especially if 4v4 options don't come up in the vote and/or I get stuck with noob teammates. I mean in general I don't mind noob teammates and I like to help people play better but when I don't have a lot of time and I have the "win such and such" hanging over my head it takes away from the enjoyment. The other challenges (hits with items/headbutt/punch/whatever, playing as a certain type of animal, et cetera are fine.
Finally, thank you for your work in improving the game. It's very fun and has brought me a good bit of enjoyment.
GrannyMax Today's challenges are ones that shouldn't stack up in one day either. 3 smash custom games, 5 games using an animal who can fly, 1 team score game using a meat eater. That's 9 games you have to play to get those. Again wouldn't be so bad if they were in a weekly pool of challenges and I could play them in a 4 hour session on the weekends or something. I can't play 9+ matches every day though (especially some of the ones that go on for a while) or even just some random weekdays. At least there's no win condition so that helps but still.
bkramer it took my friends 50 minutes to complete quick match challenges and another hour to play smash. it cannot be any easier. please stop trolling boss before he trolls us all and sells us those skins for 3000 nemo bucks each. you bought a finished game and got a lot of content for your 20 dollars. they doesn't own you anything for free and any content they release they could sell
but also i will remind you that owls eat meat
Igor I'm not trolling. Almost 2 hours to complete daily challenges is ridiculous, especially when I can't plan for this ahead of time. I got on early today hoping to knock them out before I got busy and saw them and it's pretty much a guarantee I won't be able to do them for today. It wouldn't be that big of a deal at all if the rewards were just Nemo bucks or cookies or regular Xp. But this is limited time content and I like a couple of these skins and I don't know that I'll be able to finish the pass if I miss any more days.
Again, it would be better if all challenges for the week were posted at once and we could choose when to complete them. I simply can't play Party Animals for an hour every day and the game isn't fun with the onus of daily objectives. It's usually something I hop on and do 2 games or so to wind down every day and that is fun. Then on weekends or various weekdays sometimes I have more time and can play for 4 hours at a time. Make all daily challenges for the week available at once so that we can complete them when we have time. It's still the same amount of challenges and the same XP reward, just more flexibility on when we can complete it, so it shouldn't have any effect on Nemo bucks skins or anything like that.
And if you're referring to my other post, RNG is a terrible unlock system. I don't expect to or want to unlock everything, but it just so happens that one of the only base game skins I haven't unlocked (swat cat) is one that I want. I would never spend money on a game for just a chance at unlocking something, especially when it's like this game where I'd most likely just get duplicates of things I already have that convert to cookies. A system where I can pay Nemo bucks and choose the skin I want to unlock is a valid suggestion and would be much better. On top of that, I actually would buy Nemo bucks if that were the case.
i wasnt even doing all challenges everyday, but if i wanted to buy the pass now, i'd only need to spend 2880 nemo bucks, because i got other 2020 from boxes (which i also dont unlock every day) and 300 gift nemo bucks. luckily for me i dont need those skins and i was expecting them to be in shop, then i would gift them to other people.
nothing left to discuss here. go play the game
Igor I can't play right now I'm away from my console, and likely will be until around midnight. Again there is nothing wrong with my suggestion. It is the same amount of challenges and the same amount of XP rewarded, just more freedom for players to choose when they complete the challenges. It would be a positive change.
bkramer the problem with your idea is that some players will complete the challenges too fast and there will be less reason to play later. and for others it will look overwhelming seeing too many challenges. either way they cant change it now.
i'm sure that even if you play just on weekends you can lower the price to acceptable one for you
Igor If people are too overwhelmed and can't comprehend that it's the same amount of challenges in the same amount of time then let them opt into locked in daily challenges instead. Let players choose. They can't change it for this battle pass but they could change it for the next one. That's the point of my comment to give them feedback to give us players more options.
You can pay by time or money. PA is not purrfect, but all things considered it's way better than most other games. You can get a lot, basically all, of the content for free if you grind hard enough. Not unlocking the new items immediately is exactly the point, but you can throw money at it if you want to skip ahead. Otherwise you have like half a month to complete it so you can get all the items and complete the challenges. If you joined halfway or can't participate fully, tough luck. Such is life sometimes. But exactly as in real life, money can fix some part of the problem. And those devs gotta eat too!
It is supposed to either entice you to play daily or pay up. I think PA is more fair and balanced than most other games. Players vary too much in available time, skill and other aspects of life to make a purrfect system for everyone. Yet PA has to provide for them all.
