We are developing a new feature to adjust the XP acquisition ratio, specifically to enhance the transfer of experience to the Battle Pass in quick matches and custom games. However, the reason we are doing this is to prevent idling and XP farming. This behavior is unfair to both regular players and our developers.
The development team needs funding to continue operations, so we rely on payments from players who are unwilling to invest time. At the same time, we also want to reward those who do invest their time properly.
However, many people use scripts to idle and obtain these rewards, which is something we do not want to see.
That's why we design most rewards to come from completing tasks, rather than from idle-gained experience.
Of course, everyone would ideally want us to give away all our meticulously crafted skins or content for free upon release. But when the entire development team needs to be paid salaries and rent, how long can we afford to do this?Compare the update frequency and content of any game within six months after a $20 release, and you'll see just how much we have done.
