Igor i would still prefer them letting us know what team you're on before the game starts, without the need to use secret menus
Yes, I totally agree with this. I believe someone said that things might be reworked in this area. If that's true it'd be very welcome, as it's just not clear who's on your team. I didn't even know the trick about bringing up the menu on the character selection screen to find out this information until @Igor mentioned it a while ago, but sometimes I still forget as I'm too distracted by sending hearts and poop emojis.
Here's what I currently do. As soon as the character selection screen appears I make my player ready. I then bring up the menu and find out the name of the player on my team. Once I have that I return to the character selection screen and find them, making a mental note of the colour of my team and the animal and outfit chosen.by my teammate. It works mostly, but is a pain, and doesn't work if your teammate is off the edge of the screen and you can't see them.
If it was made very clear how the teams were divided on the character selection screen that'd be great. Maybe something simple like 4 coloured podiums on which the teams are standing together. Also, something to make it super-clear might be having spotlights above each podium lighting up each team's players. As the timer approaches zero and the match is about to start, the other spotlights could dim, while your team's remains lit at full brightness. This would help as a big reminder that you're a) on a team, and b) who your teammate(s) are as your podium would be the brightest right before the match starts.
Not sure. Might work well.
