I'm personally having a hard time differentiating if he's trolling or if he's genuinely thinking they would make him a skin. I really hope he's just trolling, because yeah... they just would never make some random kid his own skin that promotes tobacco use and invites piles of lawsuits from parents saying party animals influenced their kid to start smoking. Let alone just making some kid they've never heard of his own skin.

But you can always draw your skin and put it as your profile picture. That's the best you're gonna get!

This doesn't seem like something you would say if you weren't trying to argue a point like this, saying it would just be an outfit and not a new character so it's alright. And anyway, he literally switched his pfp to his idea for the skin either just before or just after making the thread, it's as if he's just saying "Make me a skin, I want it to look like this, here's a reference." From what I've heard, and after reading his previous posts, this is the exact kind of main character thing he would do.

I was thinking, why can’t we make small customizations to a character, like changing facial expressions or adding a hat? Some characters only have one clothing color, but I can’t change it, remove it, or add anything new. This makes the character customization very limited. If there were a customization feature, there would be much more variety in appearances instead of being so restricted

Arabian People have suggested this in the past. Colour swapping I can see happening in the future, but taking pieces of one outfit and putting them on another might be too complicated. There are too many possible customisations to consider at once and it might be too overwhelming. Facial expressions can't really be changed because it's kind of important that all characters have the same blank stare so it's easier to tell if someone is knocked out.

In character customization (as in games), each character should have only the options specific to them. For example:
If the character wears glasses, the glasses option appears and can be enabled or disabled.
If they wear a hat, the hat option appears in the same way.
If they wear a jacket, the same applies.
Skin color is available for all characters according to what is available for each character.
However, I do not mean mixing unrelated items between characters (such as adding dog pajamas to a tiger).

Cartrimino They should add color swapping sooner or later. As for customizing clothes on animals… I don’t really see that happening. It’s possible, but collecting skins would be more pointless.

Arabian This is a little more plausible, but still may be too much. As @Cirno said, it would make skin collecting pointless. After all, why collect more skins if you've already created your favourite? Plus, you also have to consider, some parts skins aren't designed to go with other parts of skins. For example, absolutely none of the Raincoat Fluffy skins would work with literally anything else. Eventually, all the possibilities, even with only character specific skins, is going to be too much to consider.
