Just an observation, everyone. I’m not sure how reliable this is yet, it needs more testing, but it might be possible to determine whether someone laying on the ground is actually knocked out/dead or faking, just by looking at them.
Look at their mouth. If it’s open (and especially if the tongue is hanging out), then I think the player is really knocked out (or dead). But, when they regain consciousness and pushing a button would make them open their eyes and stand up, then their mouth closes. So, I think that if you see someone laying on the ground and their mouth is closed, there’s a possibility they might be conscious and just faking it.
Just something I’ve noticed a couple of times over the last few matches when I’ve been knocked out. Not sure how reliable it is, but worth looking out for and reporting back on your findings.
You often see it on the podium, where a knocked out player’s mouth will suddenly close while they remain laying on the ground. I think this might be an indication of them becoming conscious again.
