Nadodouha As much as i agree that discords platform has much more to offer in terms of content and ease of use. There's a few reasons why I oppose it. The biggest one being that it kind of closes the door to new members/friends. At the forum, its open to anyone and the fact that its an official PA forum brings a lot of incentive to come here. Where as a discord server has no way to advertise itself and has little incentive for new people to join. 2nd off, I like how none of us run this forum, so it's not biased to work in any of our favour. There's the rules and we all have to follow it - no one is an exception. 3rd, official PA moderators and staff are here. So any questions we have can be answered and we have direct access to updates and news. Something i know a bot can do but its still convenient and it's updated from people and a bot might miss some things such as Chinese exclusive stuff. I also feel a switch to discord could really slow down and possibly kill the forum or at least temporarily. I like it here, especially the past month.
I use Discord myself but I think the forum is good enough. I wouldn't be opposed to joining a server but personally I'll be doing most of my engagements here. Unless im playing the game live, then Discord is my preference of communication.
