I'm with the same error, when i get into the loading screen i receive error 10023 and when i press A to retry it instantly changes to 10020, here are my info.

OMG!! It worked! Thank you very much!!
After switching the language settings on my Xbox Series X to English, Party Animals is now running normally.

For anyone else on Xbox experiencing the same issue, try changing your console language to English, it might fix it for you too.

I really hope the developers can look into this for future updates.

I’m an Xbox user. I had the same issue and I was waiting for a fix. However seems that you didn’t figure it out yet.

I confirm the workaround:

Go to Xbox Settings from Profile
Go to System > Language > set English
Start the game and accept the popup
4 Go back to Xbox Settings and change back your language.
Restart the game and the issue is solved.

I believe that the issue is related to the in-game popup message, not localized in other languages or something like that. Maybe looking for that language. Since the game is not localized itself.
