Cirno In the Tackle Box, I was comparing cranberry and blueberry’s stats, the only thing that changes is the bite rate, does that mean that a better bait will only help attract fish quicker? I may be wrong, perhaps bait does help get better fish.

ToastySTENCH I dont know if its coincidence but last night I kept catching large fish at night. About 3 large fish at night and only 1 during the day..I was fishing for about an 45 minutes or so.
galaxy-cabbage Cirno the rods are mostly the best, each rod unlocks new fish and makes the last easier to catch, while the hooks and reels make it easier to catch the current newer fish

The only question I asked him that he was able to answer was what bait he uses, he then sent the gold poop emoji which I then asked if that meant honeycomb and he did a thumbs up. He also had a volleyball, and a whole bunch of crazy large fish.
ToastySTENCH ZoiDUX Only if you're standing on the rocks that are fully above the water. Any rocks semi-submerged is fine. I typically cast my bobber by the rocks and reel in and have no issues. It's only on the rocks far above the water I experience an issue

Cirno I’ve been using the bamboo reeler and have been saving up for the elder rod. Is getting a good reeler probably something I should do soon? My line is the basic one too.
Limto Cirno Don’t make the same mistake I did. I spent all of my fish cookies on two reelers but they weren’t compatible with my rod.
