Since this is a game aimed at fun purposes, it does not have HP bar it's fine. I played badly initially, frustrated by the sheer randomness of dying.
So I tried honing my skills by beating Black Flag Beast Mode, then went back to Quick Match and noticed even more randomness in gray conditions / dying reasons.
Like this: People got knocked into lava, they climbed back like 5 times even into late game. Me: Jump kicked into lava at early game, swimmed for 1s sec, died while climbing. Another Garfat's Ring, enemies were normal punching, my character got pushed out into lava without being knocked out, his body touched the lava for 0.5s, he died even before I could swim - it was early game, stone drops had not appeared, I had like 3/4 stamina without even being knocked out once.
Fine, another SMASH, I had Super Two Hand with a shovel in Ichiban, started match, I tried to swing at an enemy so my stamina would be 80% having 1 Blue bull. He normal punched me, the shovel knocked him right after the punch. My character dropped dead on the spot from that normal punch. He had no PAWERS related to punching or stamina, I was like what the heck I died in 1 normal punch.
Okay another round, I used shovel and hit a cat 4 times, he flew like 1 screen out into the icy water. He swam back 4 times lol. I dropped my shovel, jumped kick but another guy punched and pushed me into water without knocking me out. Shore was very near like I could swim for 1s to catch the ledge. But no, after swimming nearly 1 sec I froze into an ice box.
All of them happened too often. I had Bluebull with me so my stamina should be abundant. So how was that enemies got hit by shovel 5-6 times and get up like nothing happened, swam in lava like it's coca cola, but I often died so easily? How normal punches can cast instant death?
