Same problem happening to me,
Sometimes once i start the game i try all servers keep giving me error in the server log in screen, with message "an error occurred while connecting to server, please try again", (error code 10035) and happens all the time even when i try to enter a game sometimes it let my friends enter the game and i get stuck in the loading screen, it happen too often to the point its unplayable,
Also worth mentioning im not facing any trouble with my internet with any other game and the ping is 80, in addition its cable connecting so i don't understand where the issue exactly
Also worth mentioning I've been playing the game for around a year and this issue started after the last (kart race) update,
Please help us fix this issue i made some of my friends buy the game and i can't even play with them :"(
