  • longer shelves for item shop

following @SmartisanVae 's suggestion to increase income for Recreate Games, another question should be raised: what is the purpose for time limited skins? i really don't get it. why not make one big store with all skins available all the time? why not sell skins from previous passes for nemo bucks? why not even sell ghost Nemos? i often see people willing to by past skins, they are just not given such opportunity. and rotating items makes sense in Animal Crossing, because it makes the shop feels more alive, but that's Tom Nook losing money, not real people. i don't understand this business model and to me a bigger store seems more convenient

if the developers really like time limited stuff, why not, for example, open weekend markets with larger selection of skins, that are no longer on shelves? it just makes no sense to me to completely remove your product off the shelves

Cartrimino he can keep his royal nemo, but i still wonder, how much money did royal nemo bring with pre-orders and how much money would it bring if it was sold in item shop every day for the last year?

Igor yeah it would bring more money for Recreate, but @Angel_mmo says that it must stay exclusive for some reason he refuses to explain, even if it gives Recreate more money and lets them give us better updates.

MrJoe holiday skins can remain time limited to feel special, but some holiday skins like lady gaga and easter rabbit are still in shop rotation. people may not use it during the rest of the year, but buy it for their collection. while it may feel weird to sell holiday skins like halloween, christmas and dragonboat skins after the holidays are over, i see no reason to not sell lotus variations and master pass skins, they can be used all year
