To all those who recently joined.
I remind everyone that this forum is global. There are people from different countries, which makes it a challenge. Even in one country, there are people who think differently. In other countries, they are even more different due to their culture, way of thinking, and way of expressing themselves.
The matter is further complicated since many of us use a translator to write in English, and when that text is translated into another language, it creates the so-called telephone game effect. On top of that, the meaning of the message changes depending on the tone of voice with which you imagine it.
I've seen how, on forums in other countries, words commonly used by them can be considered rude and even offensive to foreigners. Even some gestures and hand signals that are considered greetings in one country are offensive in another. Even what is considered funny or humorous in one country may not be so in another.
I suggest you take all of this into consideration when conversing with other people on this forum. Not everyone shows friendship in the same way or laughs at the same things, and in some countries, you won't even know if the other person is smiling or upset with you.
Personally, please bear with me in my comments because even though I express myself neutrally with pronouns, the translator seems to misinterpret it and use the wrong pronouns and get it wrong with he or she.
