vile_Terrier i think i'm either not old enough or too dumb to enjoy strategy games. it's said the CEO liked to play Starcraft in his youth too, but he's a bit older than me. my other friend (who got angry at me and unfriended me) is also older than me and plays strategy games all the time. maybe if i was born in 80's i could enjoy strategy games. i liked this small game though:
because the grid is only 8X8 spaces, it's crucial it to make the right decision with each of your moves. you can spend half an hour before you move, imagining every possible outcome of your move and predicting what happens when the game continues afterwards. and because it's just 8X8 grid, the game gives you the same effect as after playing tetris. it's not hard for your brain to simulate it inside of your head, so you may see yourself still imagining this 8X8 field in your head and planning your next move after you done playing the game. i recommend playing it, if you havent yet.
and i recommend to keep it windowed, as for some reason seeing those pixels upclose adjust your eyes in such way, that after you see your full resolution desktop again, it may look "strange" to you, dont know how to describe it better
