the upcoming public test will only make the game worse. let's think about it. a developer should know better than anyone else how his game should be. no one respects a musician, who wants to please others. the developers knew how the game should be when they released 1.0, but then we saw the results of them listening to complainers. through this year the game only got worse. nothing got better. we dont talk about new content now, but base game. everything only got weaker and easier, nothing got stronger and more difficult. (on a side note it's funny how it contradict with their decision to keep exploits in game, that massively increase difficulty for less experienced players)
i doubt that community managers on discord know players, who understand this game. in the upcoming playtest they will pick the same clueless complainers, who only want the game to be made easier for them, but if i helped pick the right people, would they listen to me? because i see no point of this test without people like @SmartisanVae and @AnimaI and they are not on discord.
the best thing that could happen for me with anniversary update is everything to be reverted to 1.0. i dont need new content and i was happy with what i had. i'd rather not have anything new, but keep the things that i liked. this obviously wont happen. perhaps the way to escape the matrix is to realize that this is just another 20 dollars steam game with a talented developer, who for some obscure reason let random players develop his game. then we will care less, we should also start drinking more
