after doing some testings with @Fuzztronaut we saw that the shovel does as much damage now as it did in the beginning. i was doing testings after the update when they announced they "nerfed" shovel and i saw it became less powerful, i even have it on tape. there is a chance that it never changed and i just got very unlucky right after the update, but more likely that they made it more powerful again and never told us.
we could try to test it in quick match with more people to see if maybe this affects it
