How can I chat on Xbox

to type something (I was playing on Xbox)
but I don't know how to chat, but my bro was playing on steam
so if any of you folks out there
know how to chat on a Xbox please
let me know.

If you don't have an external XBOX controller keyboard or microphone, you won't be able to chat.

If you have any suggestions please let me know. We hope that XBOX or other similar console game players can also participate in the exchange.

GrannyMax They could make it so that by holding down the pause button for 3 seconds I would send us to the chat

I would like to be able to talk in game with chat bubbles but impossible on Xbox. A useful feature in such a funny game

How u chat with the keyboard? U can even put any USB-Keyboard on the Console for text input
( And on some games also play with Mouse and Keyboard on Console )

But i dont se any option to chat on xbox with keyboard attached.

MikeLitoris it's because PC players have a keyboard to type with so they can form sentences.

I’ve got a Xbox controller chat keyboard and i have no option to make a chat bubble either, I’m going to try a actual keyboard next, there should be some better way for console users to be able to communicate in game, as it’s a big part of the game, it’s such a great game too but this lack of communication for consoles spoils the game !

ROGUELUPA Yeah I love joining random lobby’s and hanging out to play PAWS (love how that game has built a community feel in the game). But it sucked not being able to respond to them sending messages, I could only really emote and even then the emotes aren’t all that good for communicating in that way.

Yea same here, I'm getting a keyboard for my xbox soon and I want to be able to chat. They are all right, that is a big part of the game, plus not everyone can get a PC. It's annoying that you have to talk to a friend that has a PC or not through a "Friend Chat", at least put a chat option to a non-friend player in the options to look at their profile, PC or not.

Does anyone know how the keyboard works on Xbox for Party Animals, or if it's even supported? I have a wireless keyboard that works on my Xbox, but if it's not supported for the game it won't do anything in the game. Also if I plug the keyboard in, will it disable my controller for party animals? Can I use my controller to play and then type a message on my keyboard quickly if they are both connected?
