Something about quick match with friend(s)!?

Hello!

I would like to know for sure, can i join/make quick match with a friend, or with 2-3 friends, like not added/merged with any other random players/groups in quick match, or not? It's because i have a friend there and i would like to try with him only 2 of us the quick match in the near future, like i am in a red group, he is in the blue group, or randomly, the main point just 2 of us in quick match in different group. Please somebody help me and tell me that, who surely know about it the truth and if i can do it, how can i do it (with password there, or without password)! Thank you.

In Quick Match, 8 people are divided into 2 teams and press find a match at the same time, they're gonna play together in 1 game. That's how I know.

DzL Hmm, i see. But i meant if i invite there a friend in quick match, before i start it, can i play with him only in a lobby without any other random players in different groups me and my friend 1 vs 1 in quick match? I didn't mean start it wihout that friend invited.

Chubby if you want to play 1v1 with your friend then Custom Games are for you. You can create a custom game with same rules as quick games and you can have 1,2 or even 3 friends and everyone will be in different team, it's really up to you. So short answer is yes.
Quick games is when you are matched with other players who join the queue so quick games will always have 8 players.

Yellow So you mean, in quick match we can't join to play with less players under 8 players and with friends under 8 players only? In that case it's sad a bit strange. I wanted to get 1-2 achivements in quick mode with my 1 friend only in few maps/levels. So i can't do it then. And yes, i know everything about custom game, i told you now, my other point was few achivements better to get this way, but sadly i can't do it then.

Chubby yes, quick match you can play only with party of max 4 people and you are always matched to random 4 players.
For achievements, as i do sometimes, it is possible and there are some people willing to help on forums.
I personally sometimes ask in game lobby before it starts whether anyone wants to do achievement. It's quite easy if you have party of 4 people then you find another friendly party in game and try doing achievement together. I have gotten few that way and i'm only 10 away from 100%.

Yellow Oh, i see. So in quick match have these rules with 4 and 8 players for sure. And yes, sometimes i did thinking on i ask the random players in lobby on chat, where we choose an animal, but i am afraid most of them, or maybe all of them are not pay attention for it, not care about it. But ok, maybe i will try it sometimes, but i can't see high chance for it. Maybe you had luck and you got few players, who like to help you.
