Yetti97 The thought of having an AI contest has crossed their minds and they considered doing it. We can’t change that. I do not know how they would be sorry. Do you want them to give you a bunch of Nemo bucks as sorry? I don’t know why people arguing so much about this if it doesn’t even effect your gameplay. You can see the notice in the game and just ignore it. It won’t change the game. It is only a community thing.

Also, the contest wasn’t meant to be a “best AI video wins!”. It was meant to show everyone’s ideas. It was meant to show a visualization of everyone’s ideas. Of course I don’t support AI art, but the thought was nice and maybe it just wasn’t executed correctly.

Yes, it’s a Chinese game and the competition is mainly for Chinese players, not for you. Why all this arguing? Some people want to win for money, while others want the competition canceled. Do you even have brains? If you want to win the competition, then join it. If you don’t want to, then don’t join.
In the end, most of the winners will probably be Chinese because every company supports its own country. Imagine if it were a Brazilian game with a competition mainly for Brazilians because most of the audience is Brazilian. Do you understand now? Why are you arguing among yourselves about a competition while ignoring the server maintenance problems? If they canceled the competition, delayed it, and focused on fixing the servers and improving the game, you would probably see more real players instead of AI. You’re all acting stupid lol.

So the players’ money didn’t go into improving or maintaining the game, but instead into tournaments. Players spent huge amounts of money, and all that money was turned into competitions. If they had added improvements and supported the Arabic language for the Middle East, we would have seen real discussions and more active players. Instead, you lost players from the Middle East, and the game has gotten worse over the past year. In fact, it keeps getting worse year after year.

I spent $80 on this game and got no benefit because of the high ping, and I regret paying. I thought the game would improve, but my ping reached 270. And when I asked for compensation, or at least Arabic language support, I got mocked. What a bunch of scumbags.

I have a suggestion. The participants could write the script for what they want to happen in the video, and the developers could create the video since they have the tools and character models for the game. Although I know this would represent a significant workload and they might not have the time to make those videos, we could put the players to a vote on which scripts they prefer, and those would be the ones produced. This way, we wouldn't have to rely on AI.

Los participantes podrian hacer el Guión de lo que quieran que pase en el video y los desarrolladores hacer el video ya que tienen las herramientas y modelos de los personajes del juego. Aunque se que esto representaría una carga de trabajo y que tal vez no tengan tiempo para hacer esos videos, así que se podría poner a votacion que guiones prefieren los jugadores y esos serian los que se harían. Así no se recurriría a la IA.

vile_Terrier I'd love it if they'd have given us the 3d models and assets to work with, but then that'll risk having games ripping off of Party Animals to get hold of their models.

I like the idea for creating scripts and having the devs animate it. Maybe there could also be storyboards or comics that could be submitted too.

Another suggestion is that the reward could be a new skin for an animal or a name card.

Do you have suggestions for the rewards? Because I don’t have any other ideas but I’m open to hear your ideas.

Another suggestion would be for Recreate to create a kind of online map editor, perhaps on the forum, not in the game itself. This would allow you to create routines, movements, and arrange objects and furniture, and then, once everything is set up, run the map and record the result on video. Although I know this would still involve a lot of work for the developers and might be very difficult to implement.

Otra sugerencia seria que Recreate haga una especie de editor de mapas en linea tal vez en el Foro, no en el juego, en donde puedas hacer que hagan rutinas, movimientos y acomodar objetos y muebles y ya con todo preparado, dejar que corra y grabar el resultado en video.
