Crisis, Voice chat isn't working

When I'm playing The Crisis game mode on my PS5 I cannot hear or speak to anyone in the game, I was playing with a friend and he could hear and speak with people however I could not, I checked this forum for some assistance, and I've made sure to turn off the mute voice chat function my microphone works on other games that aren't party animals, but it just doesn't work when playing party animals

Endo2020 So your friend could hear and speak with you, right? If so, I might understand what the issue is. As well as microphone settings, there are also voice chat range settings. Voice chat range is basically the group of people that can hear you. For example, if it's set to friends only, then only your friends can hear you. If I'm not mistaken (I haven't played the game in a while and don't usually touch these settings) there's also a voice chat hearing range which is the group of people you can hear. I'm not entirely sure about that though.

Unfortunately, that is not the case my friend couldn't hear me in game either we were talking outside of the game, I had my chat range set to everyone, I even used the test microphone feature and it would pick my mic up, but Crisis wouldn't I'm not sure if it would work in other games, but I was really only interested in playing Crisis
