AnimaI , I would be thinking of all the better ways I should be using my time.
This is a bad thing? I get its likely not in Recreates best interest, since they want to suck up peoples time and ultimately their bank account - but this is something many people, especially forming adolescence, don't know how to balance pleasure and responsibilities. Without the time tracker I'm already hard on myself for gaming too much. It's lead me to start playing guitar which I have for over a decade now, pick up fishing, buy a motorcycle, etc as hobbies. Prioritizing short term comfort is detrimental to the long term gain. If anything i think they should add it just for that reason. It's a huge problem in society.
Cheesypoofs The reason I don't want this is because it will make a motive of just "Oh gotta get my stats up!" so people will farm kills and stuff
I also can't envision people camping just to get a number to go up in a database only they themselves can see. I could be wrong, but I just can't see the motive for several people to do this and cause an issue. I'm a try hard myself for sure, and not even I would care to get those numbers up. No one can see them, and I have almost a thousand hours in game which would obviously inflate my statistics compared to most who only have a hundred or so hours. So my knock outs and everything would likely already be insanely high in comparison to the average, why increase it more?
But alas, you made a very valid point. There's no real way of retroactively collecting previous stats, so there's no real point. That, I completely agree with.
