Tok_Tok run 8 players on two screens on one computer.
Well the reason they haven't done that is because there won't be enough room on the screen for 8 people at once. If each person has to have an equal amount of space, that leads to hardly enough room for anyone. Take a piece of paper around the size of your screen. Now fold it in half three times and open it up. It should be split into eight pieces. Just one of those pieces is the amount of space you will get if you were to do eight player split screen. Small, isn't it? That's why it hasn't been done yet.
Tok_Tok Another thing that would be great to add is visible names above the characters
This is in the game already.
Tok_Tok Anyway, a lot of games have everything unlocked in multiplayer, sort of skyrmish settings.
Because I never played Skyrim, I'm going to assume what you're talking about has an impact on gameplay. These skins are just that, skins. They do not have any gameplay impact. If what you're talking about doesn't have a gameplay impact, then I'm going to assume that Skyrim isn't a live service game like PA is. Live service games are built around the concept of multiplayer and progression. Therefore if they just gave you everything, you would just naturally always have everything because the game is designed to be multiplayer. What's the point of having any cosmetics in the first place if everyone just already has them? A character creator, I understand, but just the skins that you can already get in the game for free with progression shouldn't be just given to everyone the second they play the game. You are rewarded with more characters for getting better at the game. I see it as 'Oh, you got this achievement? Well here's your Golden Sparky skin. Congratulations on doing so well!' instead of 'You want this? Give me the money first.' because you can unlock everything for completely free. The microtransactions are only there for impatient people who want to speed up the process. They are there for that reason and that reason only.
Tok_Tok When you say they want you to come back to come back to the game the only thing I'm hearing is they want you to buy ingame stuff,
Well of course they want you to buy in-game stuff, but it's your choice how you do it. As mentioned above. The microtransactions are there for people who want to speed up the process. You get to decide whether you want to work hard and level up to get your stuff as a reward for all your patience and work, or throw money at the screen and watch all your problems disappear. From the way you're wording these posts, I can tell you don't want to pay any more money than you need to. But as I've mentioned multiple times before, you don't need to pay any more, yet you're acting like that's the only way through post like these:
Tok_Tok they want you to buy ingame stuff, which is really sad because I already paid for this game.
You're acting like you're being forced to pay. You're not. Everything in the game is available through hard work and progression. Play the game and get rewarded, it's a simple system. If you want to pay to unlock everything faster, that's fine, but good things also come to those who wait.
In conclusion, not everything in the game relies on these skins. You don't need them, especially since the starting roster has enough animals for eight players without any confusion about who's who. All the skins, if you do want them, are available through free progression, as well as payment. This is how live service games work and it always has been. There was someone on this forum who would bully you for this, saying you had plenty of time to refund the game if you didn't like this and it's your own fault that you're stuck with this now. I'm not going to do that. I will continue to help you if you need it, assist you with any problems you may have (PA related of course) and ensure you have a good time on this forum and the game.
