I was wondering if you can play local multiplayer games for Xbox without the game pass and if there isn't could you add it please (⁠^⁠⁠)

I'm not sure if you did this at lighting speed but my xbox game pass ended today I cant play online but I can still play local multiplayer
(which is what I wanted)
when I got the game it didn't do that so it must have happened in one of the updates
