  • Why local mode is not work on PS5?

Why Party Animal request the online membership for the local mode? Human Fall Flat local mode don't need it and the Fall guys don't need the online membership to play online with others.

In our version 1.10.0.0, we added the Local Game mode for Xbox and PS players who purchased the game but do not have a platform subscription and support 2 players in split-screen. You can access it by selecting "Local Game" from the main menu.

If you're still unable to use this mode, please provide a relevant video and your in-game ID.

    Hi Barbie, I purchased the party animal and use my second controller to add another play in Local mode, but it ask for the second play to subscribe the PlayStation Plus. If I use the account which purchased the game to add game as second player, it still not working. You can see the details from the attached video
    and my in game ID is MPQ5HE.

      Hey, the same is happenning to me, I wanted to play with My wife but is asking her to get a subscription too.

      Following this thread. Please fix bugs for local coop. I don’t have ps plus and cannot play 2nd controller without subscription

      Please fix this issue. I bought this as a gift and was let down local play required more PSN accounts to sign in. We don’t need extra accounts to play local games together on Gang Beasts. My niece and nephew were very excited for this game to come to PS5 and not being able to play together ruined our night. Please address this! 🙏🏽

      I purchased the game for PS5. I cannot add any additional players. The game is started with the PS plus account. I tried local guest player and players with s local account. The game always wants the players log in to PSN.

        I also experience this. Doesn't make sense why you would need PS plus just to join a local game.

        Posting back to say Thank you! This has been fixed. I can now play locally on PS5 without PS Plus. 🎉🎉🎉

        Barbie I have had party animals on the ps5 for some time now. Although you guys have finally updated the local multiplayer allowing players to have 2 players, why can I not have 3 players? Please get back to me - Xlyxor

          Local Game Mode supports up to 2 players in split-screen only.
          However, Quick Match (Classic Mode) and Custom Game support local split-screen for up to 4 players.

          Does Quick Match and Custom Game require each player to have PSN accounts? Why can't they be guest players?
