INPUT DELAY/LAG XBOX ONE

I have been having a terrible experience with input delay (ie: character throwing punches long after I had pressed the punch button and character not turning after I input to turn and ends up running off map) and the game generally being laggy and low fps is there any known way to fix it or a patch coming for this ?? I play on the regular Xbox One

Generally, the Xbox One might not be the best console for this game, For an optimal experience, you might need a Series S or X. I came across this information in a video that compares all three of the consoles.

The input delay could be due to ping, other WiFi issues, or possibly the controller.
