These are just small ideas I thought of to make the “SMASH” gamemode better and more fun.

First SMASH Idea:

At the begin of each SMASH game, instead of just immediately taking all players to the “Select A Pawer” screen, players get the option to vote on two different types of SMASH gameplay. The first one, being the current, original SMASH game, which could be called, “Individual SMASH”, and a new version called, “Universal SMASH”. In Universal Smash, instead of players selecting a pawer for themselves, in each round, after a map is randomly selected and before the map loading screen appears, the game automatically selects three random pawers to assign to ALL players in the match. If a pawer is selected twice, the two same pawers will combine and turn into the super pawer version. Then, that power can’t be randomly selected again in that round. When the powers are selected, they appear in the middle of the SMASH pawer selected screen without players actually selecting anything. This allows for more variety in SMASH games and allows more players to enjoy the experience if they don’t like the current SMASH gameplay. And, if players don’t want to play this new version of SMASH, they can always vote for the OG version.

Second SMASH Idea:

This is just a small change, but make it possible for Solo SMASH games to happen. This would happen randomly, just like sometimes in Classic when you will have teams of four instead of two. Also, in order for this time happen, when it is Solo SMASH, all pawers that include having a teammate will be removed for the span of the game. Due to having eight teams, with only one player per team, matches will last longer.

is this thread only for your ideas or can other people make suggestions too? because i have a smash idea too, it is to allow you to choose what perks are in the game, so all those people complaining about face off could exclude it

    Why not a 4 player smash?
    I always play with 3 other friends, and we love that mode, but we can't play it because otherwise we have to separate

      A dodgeball type game could be added for teams of 4.
