So people can't trap each other anymore. That's part of the game, and it's part of what makes the fights funny. You want to reduce the humor of the game. Your idea sucks. The game is a modern marvel. The game should stay as it is. It was incubated for 3 YEARS after the beta to be molded into the beautiful work of art that it is.
If you want health bars and hand-outs to give people on the ground extra opportunities to get back up by making them fortified or whatever dumb crap your mind comes up with, FFS please just go make your own game.

I understand you just as much as I understood you before. I know exactly what you're saying. But hopefully you understand me when I say your idea sucks.

You want it to be impossible to keep knocking a player down. Thus they're basically invulnerable to being knocked down for a period of time. That idea seriously sucks. It ruins the game.
Think through it for a moment, how that would change the game.
Let's say we're playing in Ice Breaker. The way it is now, if we time it right, we can hit an opponent enough times while they're still down to slide them across the ice and off the platform. With your idea, we can basically knock them down once, and then we're forced to let them get back up and have the ability to knock us down.
I'm sorry but if you don't want to be knocked down, then you shouldn't have gotten knocked down in the first place.
Leave this beautiful masterpiece of a game alone. So glad you're not a developer working on it.
