heavy punch issue

you usually see me mocking people complaining about small changes in mechanics and you never hear any complains from me. this will be the first one. i can no longer heavy punch. i'm used to walk slowly, tap run and punch. if you do it now, you do a light punch. to do a heavy punch you need to hold run button for longer. i could get used to it, but i really dont like how it feels

Igor I’m the same way I never really care/complain much about the updates they make. Even when they nuked the nunchucks I was like aw that sucks but didn’t really care because I barely use weapons. Now I’m so bummed because like you, punching was my way of winning. I really don’t even want to play anymore which is absolutely insane because I am ridiculously addicted to this game 😂 I’ve played almost every day I was available to since the game came out. If they don’t fix the punching I’ll most likely stop playing because the physics just don’t even feel like they make sense anymore. I told myself I could get used to it but my character just feels so heavy for no reason. This is what happens when they listen to all of the sore losers that complain literally just because they’re bad at the game. They’re going to end up losing players that actually like the game.

Cartrimino "macros" don't bother me personally, i play custom and my friends never use exploits. worsening heavy punch does affect me

Igor yeah I can understand that. But the thing is competitive players will make us all suffer so they can fling. It's not fair when you think about it.

The fling is useless, too. it takes up like 60% of the stam and doesn't go as far as how it was. I would rather for it to be removed and have heavy punches back to normal, I hate how unfamiliar the movement in controls are now

The thing is, nerfing heavy punching like this isn't even relevant to the fling stamina consumption or length. They probably did this because heavy punch was too powerful. I personally think not and it's my main method of ~~murder~~ playing the game like a normal sane human being but I guess some idiot out there didn't like it.

Made an account just to complain about the same thing. Such a small change made the game feel completely different for me, and all my excitement about the new event kind of just evaporated.

after I found out they ruined heavy punch, I just used dropkick and won (surprisingly)

MrJoe most definitely. but the previous patch disabled fling, yet it didn't affect heavy punch or much else. we should have kept it like this, even if it means leaving some other holes unpatched
