Scientifically known as "ocelli," these markings resemble watchful eyes when seen from behind. Scientists believe they may help deter predators or other threats attempting to approach from the rear.
For mother tigers, these spots may serve another purpose: in dense jungle darkness, they act like subtle visual signals, helping cubs follow closely behind.
With "eyes" even on the back of their heads, tigers truly deserve their title as the King of All Beasts!
