  • Strange bugs since the major update came out!

Hello!

I found few strange bugs since the major update came out. The princess Carrot bunny and other king variations don't appear in the Locker menu, we can see their head icon down in the variations, but when we click on them, they are not appear as animals and we can see their infos right side only, nothing more. Other strange bug i noticed in the Beast Football map my name gone (the "You") above my animal's head, but in the latest round came back, but after that i saw one of my teammates name gone too. Since that his name didn't appear again the whole match. Same happened with my "You" name in the Beast Soccer map too. Maybe this bug happens in sport, ball game maps only. I hope these bugs will be fixed soon! If yes, thank you.

    Chubby Princess Carrot is not available until February 2nd. Longshanks Sunny comes out on February 9th. Name tags disappearing is definitely a bug and its annoying.

        ChrisHansen Hmm, i think you don't understand what i mean the princess and king variations. When we click on them in the Locker menu, they are fully not appear we could see them there, their infos appear only. This is bug. In the Locker menu there was and there are other not avaliable animals/variations, but we can see them there and not stucked there the last seen animals.

            Chubby I am sure the developers will prioritize such a game breaking issue and fix it on February 2nd and February 9th. Good find.

              Regarding the first issue you report, we are aware of this issue now and our technical team is working hard to find a solution.

              And regarding the issue of names suddenly disappearing, if you encounter it again, please kindly record a video for us.
              Besides, we will also need your log to analyze the issue further. Please follow the steps below to get the log:

              1. Quit game.
              2. Right click "Party Animals", then click "Properties". Type "-log" in the "Launch Options", and close the Properties window.
              3. Restart the game. Then in Steam Library, right click "Party Animals ", then "Manage", then "browse local files". In the pop-up windows, you will see log files named "2023-09-xx_xxxxxxxxx-Laptop Name". Each game session will generate one log.
              4. Try to reproduce the issue and remember the time when you encounter it. Then quit the game, and ZIP all the log files.

              Then, please visit our website https://support.partyanimals.com/login, and create a ticket with a topic describing the issue. In the ticket, kindly provide us with the exact time and date you encounter it, your time zone, and your in-game ID. Don't forget to attach the video and the log.

              We will get back to you when we find out what's going wrong.

                Good post, @Chubby. I’ve also seen this too. It happened to me in Fluffy Redemption the other day. The name tag disappeared over the players and I couldn’t see which players were on which team. This resulted in me dying while trying to figure out whether I should attack someone or not!

                I wonder if the bug is somehow related to the lobby changes, where name tags are now shown. In the lobby it only shows you the name tags for those on your team (hiding the others), so maybe the changes here have broken name tags elsewhere?

                @Barbie, this instance was on Xbox and not on PC. I believe @Chubby might be on PC (correct if I’m wrong Chubby).

                  BugalugsNugget this update brought many new bugs. now for instance i can no longer turn off depth of field. i reported it already

                    BugalugsNugget True and yes, i play it on PC. Since the princess Carrot came out now, it's fixed.
