ii've been helping with development of text to speech app designed to work with Party Animals. with help of AI technology the development speed was very fast, i would suggest a feature to the developer and 15 minutes later it's added to the app. over the time we added a lot of features, and the app became more like audio studio, rather than just TTS.
as you may know, the audio quality of party animals is not perfect. me and other players kept asking to improve it, but so far it's still the same. the main issue for me is when using tts or soundboard, the audio will cut the beginning of sound. it happens because the audio engine goes to sleep after silence. so we took the matter in our hands and wake up call feature was made. i've spent a lot of time testing it in game. the audio engine is weird, the quality of sounds depends on network and the number of players in game, these settings settings seems to work for me

you can mess with wake up ms and wake up noise if more adjustments are needed
the most interesting feature is the ability to use your own AI voices. the voices are generated locally using your GPU power. right now this feature is only available in preview built. you can opt in this built in steam settings

in settings you will find reference voice, where you need to install Chatterbox. in TTS window you can add sound clips to use as reference

besides TTS the app lets you play sounds and music at the same time. there is a built in audio processing studio. we hoped it would improve the quality of music being played over mic, but for party animals it did not help

one of the latest features is a virtual pet. you can add it in OBS and it will show what you type in TTS window. or if you connect livestream, it can show what people in chat write, while TTS speaks their messages out loud (note: streaming is still gay and not encouraged)

the developer has been working on adding custom images, so we made this fully animated Nemo pet. the animation is not perfect and it will be improved later, but you can already use it
