Can’t find my friend in my friend list

So I have a lot of friends in the game and I have two friends that are in my favorite list and I was trying to find them so I can text them but I couldn’t find them and they didn’t unfriend me because one of them was off-line for two days and now I can’t find them in my friend list. I tried resetting my game and still nothing happened I know they didnt unfriend me and I still have the exact same number of friends in my friend list even with two of my friends missing in my friends list

Cookiebat I think but I may be remembering wrong there is a search feature in the friend list? You can type the username and the user will appear.
