18+ servers are great in my opinion. When there's no 18+ servers and I join a normal crisis lobby. I'll get kicked for not switching skins to everyone else's (which is dumb because this makes detective role obsolete and makes spotting a murder hard to decipher) there's kids screaming, I've been kicked for accusing the lobby owner of a murder (he actually did do it) and I got kicked.
Basically it boils down to maturity and logic - something a human develops over time and as a kid, you have very little of. This game can strongly entertain both mindsets.
Adult mindset - use logic, formulas of deducting suspects, emotional regulation from accusations, witty brain traps, sometimes chatting in the meeting room about adult things (work, marriage, life, etc) and kids never relate and almost always throw some cocky comment in there.
Kids mindset - Just aimless fun. Everyone dress up the same! Yaaaay fun! Talk about school and parents. Baseless accusations. The worst liers ever, making the game incredibly easy. Every 3rd sentence is an exposure on how behind on maturity and wisdom you are. I've also had the most experience using the silliest and most obvious tricks to use againts them and its not as challenging. I've got invisible and killed someone and watch that entire friend group tear each other apart over the microphone and never once suspected me. I'll join if I'm feeling patient, tolerant and want easy wins.
