“Your client version is outdated”

Every time I tried to join one of my friends games this error would always pop up. I tried going out and going back in many times and turned off my console and turned it back on, but nothing worked. Anybody have any ideas?

Limto this usually happens to me when everyone else has gotten a big update I haven't gotten yet. However there is no big update as of now so I don't know what it is.

Limto I also have no idea what’s going on, I was gifted party animals on October 6 from a friend. I have only got to play it twice with friends and only got to stream it on twitch once out of the two times. Now it’s not working while my friends and others keep telling me I need to update but there’s no update for me. It’s also too late for me to refund the game back to my friend, I did love the game for the times I was able to play it with friends and the community but I don’t know if I’ll be back on after this and after reading this forum _it seems like Xbox as a platform is left out often which causes issues, unnecessary stress and confusion.

Cartrimino what about the patches? I've chatted with someone on Playstation through the animal party chat and they said that there was an update on Playstation.

I'm assuming it's something to do with Series S. That previous update made the game crash a lot on Series S and maybe they still haven't fixed that issue or made it worse.

Limto we don't know if it's them or Microsoft tho. Both Sony and Steam accepted the update but Microsoft didn't. It's 100% cuz of Series S.

HabaBaba idk they said that they were still in the process of rolling the update out and they were in contact with Microsoft about it, but that was two days ago so I have no idea.

vile_Terrier Usually, when they announce skins coming out they release an update, I suppose they are somehow preparing for the skins to release. Sometimes the day that skins release they don’t even release an update. They probably download it or something to the game before, and then just make it available the day it says it will be.
