Crisis glitch

There's a glitch where 2 players can be average goodie 1. A friend and I claimed average goodie and one of us got voted out on the premise that one of us were lying of our role.

Please consider fixing this!

ToastySTENCH This has always been in the mode, I think. I don't think it's a bug.

ToastySTENCH to clear this up, this is not a bug, there are 2 goodie roles as you can see, and you two were the 2 goodies, it displayed you 1st on your screen because your role is more important on YOUR screen, therefore you both thinking this is a bug

Cartrimino I'm not sure how long it's been. I've expressed I'm an average goodie and someone else has said they are too and we've been different AG numbers. This made us not mistrust each other. However me and my friend did the same thing I just mentioned and immediately slandered each other in the game because of it.

It has to be a glitch. Why have 2 average goodie roles if they're both going to say the same role? It doesn't happen every time either.

Definitely something for the developers to look into.

If you look at the roles before the game starts, it shows there will be two average goodies. I think this has always existed

I understand. But from what I recall, this hasnt happened before. In the past, I've declared I'm average goodie - they'll ask if I'm 1 or 2, and the other average goodie has never been the same number as me. I'll be 1 or 2 and they'll be the other number.

My friend and the lobby all voiced that we think it's a bug and I decided to make a post on the lobbies behalf and myself of course. No one i was playing with has seen this issue before.

Are you saying you guys have always been the same average goodie number as the other average goodie? Never the opposite number? It kind of makes it a bit more uncertain to rule out someone's innocence.

ToastySTENCH I'm going to be honest. Every, yes, every game I've played has had two average goodies, since the launch of the mode. If this was a bug, I think they would have solved it by now. Then again, maybe it's such a common bug that no one thinks it's a bug, but they also had to play test the mode, and I'm sure that if it's unintentional, they would have found it and patched it.

ToastySTENCH If you look at my screenshots. The average goodie on the far left is highlighted/has my player number on the role (meaning I'm average goodie #1) and my friends screenshot is also highlighted/player number on the role on the far left (also average goodie #1)

What I'm trying to say, is one of us should have the SECOND average goodie role highlighted/has our player number as our role. Hence the number #1 and #2.

Again, typically in a game, sometimes even at the start, I'll claim "I'm average goodie!" Then someone will challenge me on it, and ask "Average goodie #1 or #2?" To which I'll say "#1" then they'll be like "oh, okay, I'm average goodie #2."

But this instance, same scenario, except I was accused of lying because my friend was ALSO average goodie #1, causing me to be accused of lying and eventually getting voted out.

I also played again late last night, my other friend and I, were average goodie #1 and he was #2 respectfully. The bug didnt happen again.

So idk, chatgpt can be full of it and wrong, but I looked it up on there. According to chat gpt the game doesn't actually put the effort into having the 2 players having each of the average goodie roles as their own. I guess when they were separately representing each average goodie player it must have been fluke. But I would like to hear this from.the developers themselves. It may be a bug, or perhaps this may be a proposal to have each average goodie role seperate for each player. I think most players would assume each would be assigned accordingly, and it just leads to confusion like what happened to me.

I hope they fix this!
