Very slow EXP gain

As mentioned in a previous post of mine, and reinforced in this one, I'd like a position from the developers regarding XP gain between matches, and I'm referring to the XP from the pass.

It takes so many quick play games to gain even a single level. It's horrible. There's no daily mission that encourages me to log in every day and play Quick Play.

The game is extremely elitist for those who don't work or study and spend 24 hours playing. Not everything needs to be about grinding. For God's sake, it's 2025.

Please think about casual players. Increase the EXP gain in matches. Make the pass journey more inclusive for players of all types. It's ridiculous that I have to dedicate absolutely all my free time to getting a Capybara character for my daughter. A BASE character that's ABSURD to be behind a 125-level wall.

Again, I ask for a stance from the staff, not from sycophants who defend any absurdity the game imposes.

Sotcliff They already gave a stance on this. It's to stop people from farming EXP by loading into matches and doing nothing. This was a major problem with the Dragon Pass in 2024, so a change was made to challenge this behaviour. We can find proof in @GrannyMax 's account. There are also weekly quests (that can be rerolled) that give out more EXP. If you manage to finish an autumn cabin, you get a ton of EXP from that too. I have already mentioned why the capybara character is at level 125, because the character was literally added onto the base 100 levels and it wouldn't make sense to shift some skins to put it in the base 100, but you can actually unlock it as we speak. By recieving 720 (someone fact check me on that) treats from selling fish, you can unlock a capybara skin for entirely free and for less time. I am aware you think you must get the base character before any skins, but one of the first skins I ever got, and my main at the time, was Gold Sparky, and I actually unlocked Sparky about 2 months later. A similar situation was with Bob. I hadn't got to the point in the level up pass where Bob is unlocked, so I instead used Dark Bob.
Also, I would like to mention that I play Party Animals while also studying for my exams and sharing the Xbox with my family, and unlocking Barbara was difficult, but doable with enough time and effort. By placing Barbara this high, it gives players a goal to slowly work towards and motivation to keep coming back to the game.

Are players going to start playing again because of a Capybara character? Dude, don't be ridiculous. Look how weak you are, accepting absurdities imposed on you without even questioning, without pursuing them.

Dozens of characters are more interesting than the Capybara, and you're feeling good just because you got her at level 125. Good friend, it's easy to be at the top of the pyramid and tell those below to simply climb.

If you don't have an opinion that complements what I'm saying, or don't have the sensitivity to understand my point of view, please keep your opinion to yourself, because it's not contributing anything, and it's embarrassing yourself.

You still haven't given me a coherent, acceptable argument for why XP gain is so ridiculously difficult and so grindy.

If they've abused this in the past, that's not my problem; everyone shouldn't pay for it.

The devs should think of a better, smarter way to avoid this without screwing over all casual players.

Sotcliff I've mentioned it before, but you can literally get the fishing capybara skin for free with a couple clicks.

Also, I work 210 hours a month and have a wife and a very busy schedule and I've unlocked the base character. It takes time but its not brutal. Play the cabin game modes and stick it out till the end and you get tons of exp points.

Also, I thought there was daily and weekly challenges?

Sotcliff I've already mentioned why the developers think that is the best way, because people would unfairly farm EXP by doing nothing in matches. To combat this, the slower EXP gain was added. It was unfair that these players were being rewarded for doing nothing, so a slower EXP gain would make this technique inefficient. I've also mentioned that there are weekly quests that help you level up faster, and that you can reroll after your finished with them. Also, I would like to mention that before I reached level 125, I was motivated to come back to the game over and over to unlock Barbara, and it was fun, I like having a goal to work towards. Besides, if they put Barbara at a lower level in the pass, they would have to move a skin that was already there, because Barbara was added later. People would get angry if the new 50 levels were half skins they already unlocked. Would they just receive nothing when they level up?

Você quer jogar correndo como uma chita superestimulada e depois fica bravo quando paga por ele e termina rápido demais. Você diz "este jogo é muito grind!" e então pede para que o jogo seja mais grind, querendo uma progressão mais rápida. Essa é literalmente a definição de grind: "passar por algo rápido demais".

You won't be able to, because it's not possible. The total XP given in the weekly missions is only 5,000. It's ridiculous, it's absurd.

I don't care if people abused XP in the past. It's not my problem. I and other players don't deserve to be harmed by past exploits. The devs need to think of clever ways to get around this.

Maybe then the Devs will reconsider the rate and make a satisfactory adjustment.

It's absurd that a list of WEEKLY challenges that reward XP offers less than 3 normal quick matches.

Sotcliff I also only play on my free time and I usually get 3 levels a day. It took me about 2 months to reach level 100 when that was still the max and about a month to reach 150 when it came out. Honestly I thought the Exp gain was pretty good and it gets harder as you go and when I was in the higher levels I would only get about 1 maybe 2 a day. I think if you just keep playing and enjoying the game you will reach your goal.
