Cheesypoofs I just personally feel a pin is a testament of the developers endorsing your lore. Its like saying "hey everyone who comes to the forum, this is one of the first thing we want you to see. We approve this message" when they just won't. I know how you are, you don't really adapt to todays societies softness. But you're going to have to realize that corporations have given into it and, well, they just won't bring in edgy, darker humour and contextual lore like that.
To help you, here's a list of stuff I believe you have and will likely suggest in the future that is not acceptable by corporations, media, and societies standards.
Self-harm / s**cide imagery: even as a “joke,” companies avoid this for liability and sensitivity reasons.
Guns pointed at yourself or others: cartoon or not, it gets flagged as violent and unsafe.
Racist, sexist, or homophobic humor: zero tolerance in mainstream games and platforms.
Drug use references: most games (especially family-friendly ones) won’t touch this.
Extreme gore / shock value memes: not brand-safe, drives away advertisers.
Edgy “memelord” humor (9/11 jokes, school sh**tings, etc.): crosses into offensive real-world tragedy.
Bullying / harassment themes: toxic behavior, not endorsed by devs or publishers.
Terrorism / extremist symbols: no chance in licensed or mainstream games.
Overt political propaganda: most companies avoid it to keep audiences broad
Ask your parents to teach you better of what is expected of people in these settings. This may be a forum, and we are on the internet. But this isnt just a random reddit forum. This is hosted by a game that is so obviously directed at kids or just a cute innocent theme. This is like the last place that any of this would fly.
But again, I'm not saying you should stop doing what you're doing. I don't understand it and that's fine, I don't have to. But I just feel there's a struggle to understand that party animals will never endorse this.
