Introduction
Keep moving, don't get infected
Tips
- All grabbable and climbable objects are marked yellow
- Use corners to shake off your chaser
- Knocked out Goodies are easier to infect
- Save your skills for the right moment
- The Infected move faster than goodies. Do not run in a straight line
- The higher you are, the more you see
- The Infected can infect Goodies by grabbing them with both hands
Mechanics
- When the countdown ends, the Book will choose one of the players grabbing it to become the First Infected
- If no one grabs the Book, the Book will randomly choose any player to become the First Infected
- The curse is centered around the Book and gradually spreads
- Goodies within curse range will begin to shriek uncontrollably, exposing their locations
- Both Goodies and the Infected can move the Book to adjust the curse's coverage
- The more Infected there are, the slower the curse spreads and the slower to infect Goodies
- Glowing cans might spawn at certain spots, granting random skills when picked up
- Goodies and the Infected each have their own unique skill sets
- Scattered weapons around the map can come in handy — but watch your ammo
- Round duration increases with the number of players
Scoring system for Goodies
- Stay uninfected: 50 points every 30s
- Stay uninfected until end of round: 50 points for each Infected present
- Stay around the Infected: 20 points every 5s, up to 200 points per round
- Knock out an Infected: 10 points
Scoring system for Infected
- First infected: 150 points
- Infect someone: 100 points
- Infect player with highest score in last round: 100 points (Round 2), 150 points (Round 3)
- Help others infect someone: 50 points
- Witness others infect someone: 20 points
