Expiry of friend requests via code

This is a disposable thread, but something I've tried asking in other threads and got no answer. So im hoping a dedicated thread will catch Barbie or whoever else's attention.

There's a few of us that have noticed friend requests that get sent through seemingly don't appear. We've come to the conclusion that pending friend requests via friend code and not in game friend requesting seems to have a expiry date of 24 hours.

Can we get this confirmed? If its not 24 hours but it does expire. How long does it take?

Agreed, it becomes annoying sometimes depending on the situation.

I think they should completely remove this feature, it’s annoying and I don’t understand exactly why it’s there. Hear me out, one does not get that much friend requests. When your offline, you only get friend requests from your friends that you give your code or if people from past matches send you a request in the add new section in friends. Really you don’t get much, one usually either accepts or declines quickly when your online, it would be the players fault of having a pile of requests, except if for some reason you get swarmed with requests from previous games.

I would like to know if the developers have a different reason for friend requests disappearing. I don’t know of any other game that does this.
