Hi ! I bought Party Animals this year, it has been used in a big french event ZLAN for competition in april, it convinced me to buy. I don't know what I was expecting except goofy combat.
So far it's a very fun experience. Despite some people are very mean, some other totally embrace the chill-cute vibe to it. The goofy physics combined with the cute animals create something very pleasant, sometime interacting even without microphone become a very cool experience
I also discovered Nemo Kart, once you understand the controls, the way to react and the shortcuts, training feels very nice. I'd even say it's better than many Mario Kart rip-off with weird car handling (the dead Kartdrifters for example). I saw that you even updated it a bit with the addition of ramps to have more choices.
So far it's one of my best game from this year I like to get back on every week.
BUT, yeah there's a but, something is missing for me, to have the full trust in the game life cycle (can I say it like that ?) : it's the communication or a roadmap.
I know there's the langage barrier, not necessarily that much of people at Recreate but I personally need more transparency of what's in the works, some work in progress, ect.. Like what's in the works for Nemokart that is still in beta and not that much updates, what about new circuits, new game-modes, new mini-games in the cabin ? What about a new cabin-like type of map to have choice when people want to chill and goof around. Like it's a little frustrating for me to not know if the game I put many hours of love in, will dure in the next years.
It's not that much of a critic, I totally understand your way, there is the langage barrier, and staying a little silent makes the team safe from the harshness on internet, the Steam comment section became a 4Chan-like since years now.
I'm finished for this BIG question that could've been 2 sentences short, but I really wanted to point out the good work. Take care all and see you in game ! 🐻
