Lights, camera, action! Calling all fluffy filmmakers — the Owscars Short Film Contest has officially begun!
Create a short film no longer than 120 seconds, inspired by characters or scenes from Party Animals. Post your work with the hashtags #PartyAnimalsOwscars and #PartyAnimals for a chance to win a share of nearly $40,000 in cash prizes!

Creative Guidelines
Any style or medium is welcome! You can use in-game footage, 2D animation, 3D modeling, cosplay, and more. Feel free to get creative with editing, voiceovers, special effects, and any other post-production techniques. There’s no set theme — just keep it under 120 seconds!

🏆 Best Film: Selected by the judging panel and development team
🏆 Best Story: Selected by the judging panel and development team
🏆 Best Visuals: Selected by the judging panel and development team
🏆 Players' Choice: Shortlisted by the dev team, then voted on by the community
Prizes
🥇 Award Winner: $2,800 USD in cash each prize + exclusive in-game avatar
1 winner per award category
🥈 Nominated Entries: $1,400 USD in cash each prize + exclusive in-game avatar
5 nominations per award category (five total, including the winner)
🥉 Outstanding Entries: Exclusive in-game avatar
A total of 100 avatars will be awarded to all entries that reach the Players' Choice voting stage.
About collaborative submissions:
- Please include the in-game nicknames of all main creators when submitting your entry.
- The exclusive avatar reward will only be distributed to those listed in advance, up to a maximum of 12 players.
- Cash prizes will be sent to the submitter, who is responsible for distributing them within the team.

Additional Rules
- This contest is independently organized by the official Party Animals team.
- The event runs from May 10 to August 31, 2025. Entries must be published within this period.
- Submissions must be original works created specifically for this contest. Any plagiarism or unauthorized use of others’ work will result in disqualification.
- Deleting your account or entry during the contest period will be considered a withdrawal from the competition.
- By submitting an entry, you authorize the organizers to use your work. Winners may be asked to provide source files for official display.
- Please follow the community guidelines of your chosen submission platform. The organizers are not responsible for any account suspensions due to violations.
- After the event ends, winners will be contacted via direct message on the platform they submitted through. Please ensure your account can receive direct messages and that you respond promptly, or you may risk losing your eligibility.
- Both individual entries and multiple entries from the same creator can be nominated or win multiple awards — there are no limits.
- Each player can only earn the in-game avatar reward once. However, cash prizes may stack.
- All cash prizes are post-tax amounts and will be distributed within one month after the contest ends. Actual delivery time may vary depending on external factors.
This contest is planned to be held once every quarter, leading up to the annual Owscars Awards! At the end of the year, we’ll select several major year-end winners from all nominated entries.
