I'm currently at the highest level in Party Animals (level 150), with over 209 hours of gameplay, and only a few achievements left for 100%. But I've noticed the game's becoming more and more money-focused in a frustrating way.
Unrewarding Missions: Some missions are relatively difficult, but only reward 200 Nemo Bucks, while Cookies—earned way more easily—become practically useless once you've bought almost everything available with them.
Unbalanced Post-Level Rewards: After reaching max level, you "level up" and get either Nemo Bucks, Cookies (which I have way too many of), or an Egg Coin, which gives you one spin on a slot machine that’s supposedly RNG-based. But most of the time, it feels completely unrewarding.
Absurd Skin Prices: Now there are skins priced at 1600 or even 3200 Nemo Bucks each. I’ve played over 209 hours and only have around 600 Nemo Bucks. How are we supposed to afford anything?
Daily Level Cap: There’s a limit of about 3 or 4 level-ups per day now. It’s ridiculous, because it limits progression even more—and for what? Rewards that are basically useless.
Broken Claw Machine Event: During the last celebration event, the claw machine was just bad. Each attempt cost 120 Nemo Bucks, and most of the time you'd get nothing. You’d grab a toy, lift it, and right before reaching the hole, the plush would punch, jump, or just fall out like it was alive. Sometimes I’d catch one I wanted, only to see it drop and suddenly a random one I didn’t even touch would be the one I got. It felt rigged.
This game used to be great. But now it’s becoming exhausting and demotivating. I really hope the devs listen and stop pushing so hard toward monetization at the cost of player enjoyment.
